Entanglement of Macroscopic Ensemble of Nuclear Spins in Quantum Dots

We propose two schemes to entangle macroscopic ensembles of nuclear spins in quantum dots by means of electronic transport through the dots. The first scheme uses the quantum non-demolition (QND) measurement of the nuclear spins interacting with a stream of spin-polarized electrons. For the second scheme we exploit the dissipation-induced entanglement due to the incoherent electron current through the dots.
